The Department of Bioengineering at the University of Utah and the local organizing committee in Salt Lake City invite you to participate in the Fifth Annual Mountain West Biomedical Engineering Conference at the Canyons Resort at Park City, Utah.
Please join us this September 11th and 12th as we continue our tradition of offering excellent technical content and a meeting environment that fosters many opportunities for discussion and social interaction.

Abstract Submission
The deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended to Monday, August 17, 2009.

Registration
Please register by Friday September 4, 2009. We will regretfully impose a $25 service fee afterwards.
You may register online using the University Ecommerce system. Your registration will entitle you to admission into the conference as well as scheduled meals and refreshments.
University of Utah Department of Bioengineering first year graduate students will have registration fees waived. DO NOT REGISTER on the registration page, instead e-mail the MWC organizing committee with your information.
University of Utah Department of Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Chemistry presenters (poster or podium) will have registration sponsored by their department. Please follow the specific instructions for pharmeceutical participants on the registration page.
Podium Competition: This year, the winner with the best overall podium presentation will be announced at the conclusion of the conference. A copy of the judging rubric is available here.

The conference will be in session from noon Friday to noon Saturday. Please take these changes into consideration when planning your travel. More information is available on the conference details page. Also note that there will be free parking and internet for those in attendance.
