Call For Abstracts
The deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended to Monday, August 17, 2009.

Notification of poster and podium presentations will be Sunday, August 30, 2009.
Academic and corporate abstracts are encouraged. Podium and poster presentations will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. Please be sure to:
- fill in all fields (title, list of authors, author affiliations, abstract body, etc...) on the abstract submission page
- limit abstracts to 1500 characters (not including spaces).
Note that any formatting and images will be lost and automatically changed to Times New Roman 12 point font upon submission. Abstracts should be well written and formatted similar to other peer reviewed submissions.
Poster Competition: This year, we will be holding a poster competition for best overall poster presentation. Details to follow. A copy of the judging rubric is available here.
Poster Guidelines:
Poster dimensions are requested to be 3' or 4' tall X 3' wide. For posters wider than 3' please contact canyons2009@utah.edu to be paired with smaller posters. Poster location assignments will be posted online prior to the conference and available at the registration desk.

Podium Competition:
This year, the winner with the best overall podium presentation will be announced at the conclusion of the conference. A copy of the judging rubric is available here.
Podium Presentation Guidelines:
Podium Presentations should be at most 12 minutes in length which will be followed by 2 minutes of questions and answers and 1 minute for speaker transition. There will be a PC laptop available to upload your presentation to before the start of each podium session. There will be a KVM switch available if you wish to use your own computer. Please arrive at the podium session at least 20 minutes early to download your presentation or set up your computer.
