Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, Optimal Drug Delivery


Current Research

Optimizing drug therapy based on pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling. For systemic applications, focus is applied towards analgesics and anesthetic agents with a clinical emphasis in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units and during anesthesia. For local or targeted drug delivery, focus is applied towards developing tissue and cellular level pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models. Application areas include prevention of vascular graft hyperplasia and gene delivery for anti-cancer applications.
