Current Research

Biophysics, biomechanics and neurophysiology of the inner ear including the cochlea, semicircular canals and otolith organs. The role of prestin in outer hair cell piezoelectricy. MEMS biosensors to examine cellular biophysics. Optical stimulation of neurons, hair cells, myocytes and synaptic transmission.
