Dr. Wiskin is a co-founder, and co-inventor of the fundamental imaging algorithms used by TechniScan. His research includes the theory of inverse scattering, optimization, image processing, and acoustic, electromagnetic, and elastic wave propagation. His dissertation at the University of Utah (Mathematics) established new inverse scattering imaging methods. Dr. Wiskin has taught upper division courses in mathematics and electrical engineering at the University of Utah in optimization theory, nonlinear systems of differential equations, engineering mathematics and wave propagation. Presently he is focused on the Breast Cancer Imaging problem through inverse scattering, at CVUS, LLC. (see above links)
