Undergraduate scholarships for BME students are typically offered at three distinct administrative levels: the University, the College of Engineering (COE), and the Department of Bioengineering. Students should plan to apply at all 3 levels when scholarships are available at each level. To use the following links-- first decide your current status (i.e., entering freshman, transfer student, or continuing BME pre-major/major), and then click on the links below your status to go to scholarship web pages for University, COE, and Departmental scholarships.
When applying for Department of Bioengineering scholarships, students only need to submit one application package for consideration of various departmental awards. When applying to COE or University scholarships, students need to check with the COE Dean’s office or the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, respectively, for specific information and deadlines (links found below are a good place to start).
Note: The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships handles all scholarships based on financial need, as well as most of the merit-based scholarships for entering freshmen and transfer students.
