This discussion group meets on Fridays at 1:00 PM in the Biopolymers Research Building BORB 501.
The discussion group is intended to conver a wide range of topics in systems neuroscience, computational neuroscience, neural computation and any paper that might fall under the rubric of " neural engineering". Everyone interested in these research areas are invited and are welcome to attend this journal club.
Volunteers for weekly presentations are invited. Weekly presenters are expected to choose a paper to present, or present their own work in progress. Presentations should contain enough background material that the presentation will be easily grasped by all journal club attendees. Attendees are invited to interrupt the speakers at will for relevant questions at any level of difficulty.
Copies of the papers will be placed in the front desk of BPRB 506. ALL ATTENDEES ARE EXPECTED TO READ THE PAPERS.
STUDENTS TAKING THE DISCUSSION GROUP FOR CREDIT SHOULD COME AND TALK TO SRI NAGARAJAN, BPRB 506D. YOU CAN ALSO SEND EMAIL ME AT sri@utah.edu.
