Kyle Isaacson

Current Research

Kyle's predoctoral research focuses on the fabrication and characterization of silk-elastinlike protein polymer (SELP) nanogels. These nanogels have broad potential in drug delivery, but are especially well-suited for solid tumor cancer chemotherapeutic delivery. Furthermore, he aids in the development of a macroscale anti-inflammatory drug release depot from SELP hydrogels and the clinical translation of a liquid-to-solid chemoembolic for use in hepatocellular carcinoma treatment.
